Apple GarageBand: Mac computers come with GarageBand — a free, consumer-grade DAW that lets you get started with music production (with or without an instrument). The software features a modest sound library, drum machine, synth controls for changing the sound of your audio, and a number of virtual instruments.
Apple has added several new features to Garageband – it now comes with many more instruments, the new Keyboard Collection provides more potential for playing and looping in recordings. The maximum song length that can be created in Garageband has now been increased, you can create a song up to 72 minutes in total.

When you run the app for the first time, GarageBand may ask you to download additional sound files, which I recommend you do, as it will provide you with more options while creating music.
