Here’s what most users have to say about this product:

Great starter guitar for beginner’s, with the 15 watt amp being adequate for the job. Most find the DVD very informative. The only drawback that some of them pointed out was the quality of the cord & the strap, which is just about average. However, the guitar it self is top notch, and Yamaha has maintained there craftsmanship with this guitar. Overall, most felt that this is a great price for a starter package.

Best Product for the Price. I was really surprised on the craftsmanship on this guitar because of the cheap price but the guitar is well built and the amp sounds great! As for the sound my buddy plays guitar on weekends with a band and he made this Yamaha sound like a Les Paul!

  1. One definitely has to appreciate a good quality product, especially if that is available for a bargain price. This is one such product. This is an amazing guitar for any beginner, easy to play and learn on. The wood and electronics are surprisingly well made, for the price. The guitar offers a great tonal variety, which is hard to find in similar priced guitars, as most come with only-single-coil-pickup or only-humbucker-pickup. Some of my friends who have played for over 2-3 decades have played on this one and were quite impressed with it, and said its as good or better than some guitars that are priced much higher. So its not just a good beginner’s guitar, its a seriously good guitar.
