Hamilton is a powerful, emotional, gripping masterpiece that will be remembered as one of the best in the history of Broadway. Grammy Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda has created a masterwork and written a total game-changer with Hamilton (it is even better on a bigger stage).
Touted as the biggest musical in recent times, what makes this album unique is that it contains hip-hop, rap, R&B, pop, and even musical theatre styles, all blended together for an immersive experience.

Stage Musical of Lion King – All Time Top Grossing Music Production
Do you know which is the highest grossing Music Production of all time? Its the stage musical of Lion King. With with worldwide takings of more than $6.2 billion, it has generated the highest total box office of any production in any entertainment medium, said a spokesman of Walt Disney Co.
The musical, which has been running on Broadway since 1997 and has been playing around the world, has exceeded the takings of the animated film of the same name, which are almost $1 billion.
“It is the highest-grossing total in box office history,” a spokesman said. “The $6.2 billion figure is just the box office of the stage musical.”
The total makes The Lion King more valuable than any single Harry Potter film, the blockbuster Titanic or any of the Star Wars movies. By way of comparison, the highest-grossing film in history is Avatar, with nearly $2.8 billion worldwide, according to Disney.
Its very unlikely that you may not know about the story of the Lion King. However, for those, who are not aware, The Lion King is based on the 1994 animated Disney film of the same name, and follows the journey of Simba, a young lion born into animal royalty. When Simba is ousted into the wild by his evil uncle, he overcomes adversity with the help of his jungle friends to reclaim his crown as king of African wildlife.
Directed by Julie Taymor, the musical features songs by Elton John and lyrics from Tim Rice.
‘I Love a Piano’: Celebrates the music of Irving Berlin
I LOVE A PIANO is a revue (musical show) that celebrates the music of Irving Berlin (wrote some 1,500 songs for piano during his long life). It follows the journey of a piano as it moves in and out of American lives.
Using an upright piano as a centerpiece, the story follows Berlin’s career from his earliest hit, “Alexander’s Ragtime Band.”
As the piano, with its one bad key, moves through the 20th century, it becomes the instrument of record at a sheet music store, a pre-WWI parlor, a ’20s speakeasy, a silent movie theater, a Depression-era dance hall, a WWII canteen and a 1950s summer-stock theater. The story moves from the ragtime era of the early 20th century, through the swing period of the 1920s, through Prohibition and the Great Depression and then to the 1950s.
Along the way, the story comes to life with over sixty of Irving Berlin’s most beloved songs, including the classics “Blue Skies,” “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “Always,” “God Bless America” and, of course, “I Love a Piano.”
Each of the onstage actors play the piano, as well as being able to sing, act and dance. Even though the show tries to cram way too much of Berlin’s songs into its modest two-hour frame, its hard to quibble much when the songs sound this good.
“I Love a Piano” is heartbreaking and hilarious, rousing and reflective, it admirably celebrates the contributions of one of America’s most gifted and versatile musical artists. Its a fitting tribute to the man Jerome Kern famously said had “no place in American music – he is American music.”
