Its great for playing Metal but versatile enough to play in other genres such as Rock, Blues, or Country. If your a musician on a budget, do stretch a bit to accommodate this one, its really well worth it.

When ESP introduced the F200, many felt it was one of their most unique designs. Now the F50 also has the same distinct body shape as the F200, and it’s available at an attractive price point.
If you want a radical design, and an affordable price, leave it to ESP. With 24 jumbo frets, LH-100 humbucker pickups, more tone and sustain, this one seems to offer a lot for the price.
With outlandish looks, powerful sound, and an affordable price, the ESP LTD F50 Electric Guitar delivers the perfect sound.
Here’s what the manufacturer site says about this axe:
“The ESP F-50 Electric Guitar shows once again that ESP has nailed the art of building affordable guitars that look great and sound amazing! A genuine string-through basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard provide sustaining resonance that’s blasted into the electric realm by ESP LH-150 humbuckers”.

- Cons: Not a pro guitar
- Use it for metal, for church, or anything in between.
The ESP LTD F-50 is a lower-end guitar model in the F series, but it sounds good, has versatile tones and got the looks. Overall, this is an amazing guitar for people of all skill levels. The fret board is super fast, the thin neck is great for shredding lead solos, the pick ups are decent enough to get some great chucks out of even an overdrive pedal.

A well-made electric guitar that combines advanced body design, with good construction & electronics, has lots of attitude with solid ESP virtues, and available at an affordable price. The guitar is very lightweight (feels a bit cheap but its not) but has an incredible sound and is very easy to tune.
Pickups
The pickups generate enough power to make your amp go Metal, it sounds dark, large and powerful. There’s no need to upgrade the pickups unless you want to go active (there’s ample space available).
Experienced players can upgrade to better pickups (to use as an add-on guitar). However, it comes with a bolt on neck which may not be the best to play really fast solos and sweeps.

The rosewood fingerboard feels very smooth and comfortable to play upon.
