Check out this incredible custom-built guitar that uses parts of an AK-47 assault rifle.
Some people are not just skilled at playing the guitar but also modifying them.
Guitar designer and builder Jimmy DiResta has created a custom Ibanez guitar that incorporates an AK-47 assault rifle for musician Wyclef Jean.
A very talented craftsmen, although the sound from the final guitar product is just about okay.
Check this man at work with machinery, including wood, metal and other materials, and see how he transforms a normal guitar into a modified version that looks like an AK-47 rifle.
Also, probably he may have saved some time by picking up parts such as stock, handguard etc, from an airsoft replica? Irrespective, full credit to this modern luthier!
The guy in the video is really skilled at a bandsaw (woodwork). Just look at the way he drew the lines without ruler; he also did most of the shaping directly on the saw, which is difficult then it looks (you need lots of practice). It also helps if you’re good at working with power tools.
And the clear message in this case is “Make music, and not war”.
